Anadarko's United Way Custom Superhero Mighty Muggs

We have a yearly United Way campaign here at my work. This year's theme was superheros. 7 people from our company were these superheroes. Including CEO Jim Hackett and VP Bobby Reeves. Two coworkers as well as myself and 4 other artist from the mightymuggsforum.com painted these. Together they all raised $820 in a company wide auction. I painted the Green guy in the front. He raised $125.

I watched Speed Racer last night and thought it would be cool to create a mugg of racer x. This might be simple enough to do for my first attempt.

Atomic Robo Mighty Mugg

My second Custom Mighty Mugg mock up. This is Atomic Robo. Lead character from the comic book by the same name. Published by Red 5 comics.

He is the one i'm going to try and paint for the first time. I think it will be easier than trying the big daddy one. I'll take pictures to document my progress.

So today i set up a blog, so i can post my custom mighty muggs. Right now i only have the two i've done in illustrator, but i'm waiting on Anakin to come in the mail that i bought at walmart for $8. He will be my first attempt at handpainting a custom. I look forward to adding new customs often.
